KHUNO NIMBUS Cylindrical Snow Goggles Dual ZEISS Lenses - Velcor

I’ve been using Oakley goggles for years. I am sick of spending over $200 or more for new goggles . I decided to give these a try and they are awesome!! I am not going back.

Tried a few of Khuno's other goggles, and while the quality, materials, and comfort were pretty good, they suffered from one fatal flaw: The trendy oversized OTG-style puts the lenses far from your face, which, in combination with a wide supporting frame on each lens, makes viewing the world through them like looking through the Mandalorian's eye slits. You can't even see the terrain you're skiing on. The NIMBUS goggles, on the other hand, feature a slimmer frame, greatly improving the field of view downwards.

I got the hydro-rose tint, which is more of a gold-ish and well suited to medium light.

Edit: Bumped up a star after testing them on the slopes. Even though they have a large frame, they were super comfortable all day on a small/medium face. A brimmed helmet helps keep them from looking goofily oversized.

Alright I have to say it. After running these Khuno NIMBUS E-QuickHue goggles my mind is BLOWN. I’ve used them at my local ski resort as well as on our snowboard trip to Colorado but this was the first day where I got a HUGE mix of conditions and got to fully test them out in a variety of light scenarios and it truly is the only lens you could ever need if you just wanted 1 lens and never have to do a lens change. I started out the day using these in low light, snowing conditions, then as the day went on the clouds lifted and the sun came out. Plus at Mt. Bachelor the weather changes like crazy and is totally different from top to bottoms and these snow goggle lenses adjust the whole time as you’re coming down. They’re solar powered so no batteries required and as you can see they change instantly! Easily the coolest and most useful snowboard goggles I’ve ever used! Plus the NIMBUS goggles in general are insanely comfortable and offer everything you could want in a ski goggle.

Honestly these feel pretty awesome overall. You can tell that they're not a ultra premium goggle, but they're definitely not a cheap one either. I feel like they're manufactured for a decent mid range brand and sold under a more generic name with a slight discount attached to it.
